This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Geo Image Overlay on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

Works great! Sooo much easier to get positioned images into google earth. Remember to name your documant title something.KMZ If you do not you will need to rename the uploaded file to add the KMZ extension in order for Google Earth to open it. Also, if you want to just get the pictures out of it you can rename it to a .ZIP and extract it like any other zip file.

I have been looking for an app to do this for months. Very simple and effective . no support, and even after emailing a few times.

Works great for many of my work picture taking needs. Keeps track of my location so I don't have to. I like that it interfaces with google earth
