Worked great untill I upgraded to Android 6.0 marshmallow. Will rate 5 starts once updated for new software I would also like to see integration with xposed gravity box so I can change the extra button it adds. But I won't hold my breath for that one. I am running Android 6.0 marshmallow on an HTC One (m8) with a Google play edition ROM installed and all of the latest firmware as provided by sprint.

Have you ever thought that the softkeys on your device sucked? Well, with this app, you have an extra layer of personalization. If the softkey doesn't work, you can always use a backup. Well worth the money. However, I do have one gripe with it; the back is usually stretched in landscape mode(1:1 or 1:1.66667). I'm on a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1(GT-N8013) running CM12 Nightly. It would be great if you would patch it. Edit: installed a new nightly, works perfectly.

Device : HTC desire eye , 5.0.2 sense 7 , root. When any keys are applied then the device restarts the system ui starts to crash and go full screen. This is only fixed if I apply the backup I made. I feel this may be an issue dealing with the sense theme app. I want to use your app but can't.

doesn't work with Blisspop. After applying the configurations, the device screen goes black and doesn't restart. If you restart manually , the setup won't apply. It works with resurrection remix, though. And just to help out a bit, for those who can't make it work, probably you have already applied a theme that includes the navigation setup. To make it work, you just need to apply the navigation option in your system default theme after applying your setup of this app.

Works perfectly on my Moto Kinzie XT1580, L5.1.1. I used to use AOSP navbar mod with Xposed framework on Xperia devices which was unreliable at times, this app is a far better UI and gives much more control over individual key modifications. Even gravitybox hooks are unaffected and shortcuts still work perfectly. Well worth the price, thanks for your work!

Great for customization although buttons were huge so needed to be resized then renamed. Used "easy image resizer" and "ES file explorer" apps to achieve this. It's a bit of a chore, but worth it.

About this app

This application will let you change the Softkeys / Navigation Buttons fast and easily on your rooted Android device. This root app comes with more than 150+ different softkeys to choose from and the growing online database proivides even more user-submitted ones. If you got some navigation buttons you would like to see in this app just upload them to the gallery. Until I've added them, you can just use the import feature for these soft keys. This application needs root and "busybox" to be installed on non-nexus ROMs. This app will NOT overwrite your applied themes, or enable the navigation buttons on devices without them.

known problems:
-Sometimes your wallpaper can reset itself.
-The app is not compatible with most non-AOSP based ROMs
-Especially not working on the LG G3/G2.

-works great on Nexus devices and most Motorola devices!

WARNING: This app modifies system files and should only be used with a flashable backup of your current ROM on your device. The developer is not responsible for any damages.

New features

Version 15.0.2 (BETA):
-Fixed a fatal bug with the "Restore backup" function.
-You can now choose the aspect ration that SoftKeyZ will use for the buttons. If you had a stretched back button, using '1 X 1.66667' might fix that.
-In case you encounter problems on Lolipop, use app "SE Linux Mode Changer" and set it to permissive.
-Feel free to send me an email !
