cheap trains. i'm annoyed i can't use paypal or my bancontact app to pay for a journey. it's really oldschool to still have the need for this plastic thingy to confirm payment

I can plan journeys from Paris to Brussels on IZY by Thalys (IBT).

I installed the app in Brussels. The app lets you pick a department date
and time, and a return date and time, and then when you pay, you'll notice
that the train goes from Paris to Brussels and back. They assume you live
in Paris. If you travel the other way around, you have to adjust it before
you start booking. I did complain but they didn't let me change the
journey. Waste of money.
