This application requires an iWitness subscription.

The iWitness app turns your phone into a personal safety device that provides extra security wherever you go… day or night. By capturing video and audio at the outset of any incident, sending that data to a secure cloud server, and alerting your friends and family exactly where you are and that you feel endangered, it literally helps stop crimes before they start.

iWitness also sounds an alarm and dials 911 at the tap of a finger, alerting the authorities and anyone nearby that you need help.

With iWitness, you’re never alone, even when you’re by yourself.

How it Works:

Any time you find yourself in a situation that makes you feel uncomfortable, open iWitness and tap the “REC” button. iWitness will start capturing video and audio of your surroundings and sending that data to a secure cloud server, along with your GPS location. At your option, a steady beam of light can also be emitted from your phone.

If you encounter a person or situation that feels unsafe, tap anywhere on your screen.

iWitness will now:

• Call 911 automatically.
• Sound an alarm.
• Send a text/email to emergency contacts pre-chosen by you – informing them that you feel threatened, providing your GPS location and video link, and asking them to contact you.

To protect your privacy, iWitness service is designed for use by a single user on one device at a time.  Any attempt to login on more than one device will be blocked and you will be notified by an alert message that another login attempt has been made using your login credentials.  If you chose to switch devices, please logout before attempting login on a second device.

iWitness only works if you have a subscription. The price of an auto-renewing subscription is $2.99 monthly or $29.99 annually. Payment will be charged to your Google play account at confirmation of purchase, and will automatically renew unless you cancel your account at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Subscriptions can be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be by going to the user's account subscriptions after purchase.
