It opens Play Store first to advertise other apps by the developer. Then the back button needs to be pushed to get to the actual camera. When in a rush to capture a fleeting moment, this 10 second waste of time can and does ruin the picture.

It's better than the camera app that came with my phone. I like that I can lock the focus and exposure. However, I take videos of me drawing and the screen flashes pink every few seconds. Why is that?
