About this app

The Galaxy Tab 3, Note 10.1, Galaxy S 8.4 all have an infra red transmitter located at their top. With this app the infra red transmitter can be used as an universal remote control. This app uses some commands from LIRC-files as configuration commands ,a LIRC file is a textfile with all the commands used to setup a remote control.

Config files for remote controls can be found at http://lirc.sourceforge.net/remotes/
With a text-editor you have to make a working config file for each remote. The iRPpulsar app uses sligthly different config files compared with LIRC config Files, but 9 example files are included.

BUTTON_LAYOUT

For now 75 buttons can be used of wich 13 buttons are spare.
The buttons on the right are mostly used for Television or Cabel modems , the buttons on the left for CD or DVD players/recorders , on the top right there are two ZAP buttons. (channels)

Every button name and command can be changed, buttons are highlighted if they match in remote config file and in buttons.txt file, so it's easy to see wich buttons can be used for each CD DVD TV CABEL-MODEM etc.

Button commands can be recorded in a macro to control several devices
functions with one button ,for example switch amplifier on DVD on and
Tv off with one button.

Button layout and functions are approved and tested by T.R.U.D.I.
