This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing NA Recovery Companion on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. I've gotten a lot of mileage out of this app, thank you for your service putting it together. There are a couple of issues, IMO. I don't have Android coding experience, so can't to speak directly to those mechanics. The soft buttons used to page forward & backward through the readings pages. Also, it seems like the cut/paste integration with the system UI is broken. It's been awhile since an update, so maybe some code tweaking could address these. Hope this helps & thanks for reading. ~Scott

Electronic version of IP#9 "Living The Program" Hello: I really don't understand why there are several negative reviews here. I've been using this app for several years now. When I used to do the "Living The Program" inventory I typed all the questions up on a blank Word document and left it on the desktop of my computer. Now, this app makes it so simple and easy to do a daily inventory or 10th Step! The only thing that is missing is the prayer from the IP; all the rest is there, though.

Got this app yesterday and made my first entry. I'm trying to open it now and it just sits there on the beginning "blue" screen after I enter my pin code and I have to force close it to try again. Did this 4x and still can't get in. Please get this fixed and I can change my review after I have some more experience with it

App stopped working. Will not open after entering my PIN. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it several times but still same result. Any suggestions?

Decent app. Although most of the app just links to webpages. Just for today is just a web link. I did find the living the program Q&A insightful. I would think being a nonprofit organization this app would be free. Especially since it's quick links to web pages. Keep coming back.

About this app

The opening portion of the IP states:
The purpose of this daily inventory is to keep track of who we are and what we are doing today. Try to answer every question, every day. Keep your answers as simple and as honest as you can. If you miss a day, do not make it up later. Limit your answers and concerns to the past twenty-four hours and complete the questions at the end of the day.

The app has three menu items at the bottom of the main screen: Check in, Resources, and Profile.

Check In
This app provides a mobile version of a daily mini-inventory. You may scroll through the questions and answer them as appropriate. At the end of the questions, you have the option of saving your responses so you have an ongoing record of your responses, by date. Additionally, the app gives you the opportunity to add any upcoming events for the next day or in the near future.

Resources
On the Resources tab are links to NA's Meeting Search, the current day's meditation, as well as other options to call your sponsor, read literature, or financially contribute to the NA Fellowship. For the links to work properly, you will need to have internet access.

Profile
The last section is to keep track of your own information, including your clean date.
