About this app

Desde esta APP os brindo la oportunidad de ver mis obras, en absoluta primicia, y estar informados de las exposiciones y otros eventos que organizo.

Antes de dedicarme por completo a la creación, trabajé durante once años como restaurador de pintura para importantes colecciones particulares en España y varios países de Oriente Medio, lo que me convierte en alguien que ha invertido más de 15.000 horas quitando las capas que el tiempo, la suciedad, el humo y las circunstancias han añadido al talento de numerosos artistas. Tanto tiempo limpiando cuadros antiguos y modernos, ha logrado obsesionarme con la búsqueda de lo verdadero detrás de las apariencias, la autenticidad oculta de las cosas.
En mi pintura, supongo que al principio sin pretenderlo y después de manera muy consciente, trabajo de forma inversa a la restauración. Me interesa acumular capas, superponerlas llegando a ocultar lo que hay debajo. Disfruto explorando la relación entre los diferentes estratos de color y las texturas que se generan al acumular materia, y busco como resultado un todo armónico, imposible de explicar unívocamente. Me gusta pensar que trabajo de modo análogo a la realidad en la que vivimos: así es la Historia, compuesta de millones de factores y circunstancias que se superponen, relacionan entre sí e influencian para dar lugar a hechos o períodos concretos. Así somos también las personas, un compendio de capas de realidad que, visibles u ocultas, nos confieren nuestra propia identidad.
