Great app my only suggestion is change the red colour working grey colour not working of the Ness logo (in the statusis bar) to green or some other colour. Red or greyed out is really hard see in the status bar.

Ness sure make some half baked products. This app is a pretty prime example. Their products and their website is a confusing mess (had to contact support to get user manuals...!) and lacks polish in general. I'm an IT professional by trade and was pretty horrified at the lack of user friendliness and networking standards used in their systems.

This would have to be the worst piece of software ever written. Very inconsistent, it takes about one minute to connect, continuously saying that the smart bell is off line, and then it suddenly works. Moreover the unit won't work over internet despite being in a DMZ or with all TCP/UDP ports forwarded through a Nat. Very, very disappointed, don't buy this, you've been warned! In response to droidsoft, I did contact customer service by email there is nothing in my spam folder!

So this app does what it says but it burns through 30% of my battery usage just checking if it can stay online. That is 30% in standby not actually using it. If you could fix that then I might think about using it

Edit - 16 June 15: Spoke to NESS support about the comment that an Upgrade System could provide (some) of the above and they are unaware of what that may be.

Just connected everything to my smartbell and could not be happier. Configuration was not too bad for someone who deals with networks all the time but would be difficult for the layman.
