This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Boka taxi on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.

About this app

With Boka Taxi's app you easily book your taxi trip without telephone queues in Umeå, Uppsala, Örnsköldsvik, Lycksele and Karlstad.

When you open the app it automatically finds the address you are at. If you want to book from another address, click on the menu item "Address" where you can then choose from a map, type the address, use recent addresses or choose from your favourites.
When you book for the first time you are asked for your name and mobile number, this information is saved in the "Settings" window and you are not required to enter it for future bookings.
If you want to book a taxi for someone else, you fill in their name and mobile number in the "Order Taxi" window.
If you require more taxis, you just need to do one or more extra equivalent orders (4 people/taxi), if you require a larger car then contact the taxi company by pressing the "Call Taxi" window and choosing the company you want to order with.

With the app you can also:

• Book with your travel account
• Pre-book up to one week before the trip
• See the "Status" of the trip and locate the taxi on a map
• Unbook if the taxi has not yet been sent
• See all trips within the last 14 days
• Get a receipt via e-mail
• Save favourite addresses
• Choose addresses from your latest bookings
• Write messages directly to the driver who is on the way
• Rate the trip
• Get a message when the taxi is late
• Use the app to call, if you are outside the company's pickup area
