This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Trring Pro (Beta) - Lockscreen on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

I'd appreciate some more developments: last called numbers from call list, last apps button activated and (!!!) alarm doesn't show on top, so unable to snooze without unlocking... Keep going! :-)

I like a lot but it need more options, the dialer is very small in my phone, and you could give option to have more holes. It drain my battery

Awesome app, very handy. using on nexus 5 haven't come across any issues. Be good if there was an option to add a screen pin to unlock.

The accessibility function tends to mute sounds. It is just fine if you don't enable it. The team who designed this app are so helpful

I seem to have to unlock the screen using the dialer to actually access another dialer with the features I chose... Not sure this is working yet.

About this app

Trring is a unique lock screen app, using which you can launch any app or call your friend/relative i.e., Speed Dial or you can even toggle settings like Wifi, Bluetooth, Flashlight, etc. straight from the lockscreen. Trring uses old rotary dialer phone style, means you can do all the above actions just like you would dial a number in a rotary phone.

Because of its rotary style, you can access your regular tasks without worrying about any accidental touches on your phone. That means you would also be able to do many tasks faster than before, that too in a cool rotary phone style.

Features :
1. App Launcher : Launch your favorite apps
2. Speed Dialer : Call your friends straight from the lockscreen
3. Toggle Settings : Toggle wifi, bluetooth, etc. without swiping down the drawer
4. Time PIN lock : Using this, the PIN will be the current time in lockscreen. So, you never forget your PIN and no one can steal your PIN by peeking. ;)
5. PIN/Pattern lock : The usual security options, PIN and Pattern lock.
6. Notification bubble on app icon (like iPhone)
7. Pocket Detector : Disable the touch on lockscreen while in pocket.

Trring is currently in beta testing, so you might face some issues while using it. Only some phones experience the bugs, not all, so no need to worry too much. You can even try free version first, before purchasing paid version.

Note : Turn off your phone's default lockscreen (Slide, Pattern or Pin) if you are having two lockscreens (default & Trring). If it doesn't solve the problem, turn Trring off and then back On.
