About this app

Cebu Guide is a comprehensive guide to the paradise island of Cebu. It contains articles on things to do and places to visit when in Cebu. The app also has a listing of hotels and inns where you could stay during your vacation.

Cebu Guide contains articles on heritage areas you can visit as well as island destinations like beaches. It also has a section on Visita Iglesia, which contains articles about heritage churches in Cebu.

Cebu Guide also contains a portable directory of important contact numbers like police, hospitals, emergency units and tourism assistance centers. It also has a listing of Department of Tourism-accredited companies and service providers like tour guides and travel agencies.

The guide is released as part of the nationwide Digital Tourism campaign of Philippine telecommunications leader Smart Communications, Inc. and Cebu-based new media startup InnoPub Media.

We made the app zippier and its layout more visual. We also added notifications capability to alert you on updates - from new tourism packages to announcements related to the APEC meetings in Cebu.
We also added more information. The app also has a new Updates section for stories related to Cebu. We also updated the articles and the directory listing, including that of accredited tour guides and operators and the consular offices in Cebu.
