Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Stressless @home on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

Better than expected. Decent visualisation of furniture pieces and usefully informative. Unfortunately ottomans, side tables and other accessories don't appear to be in the UK catalogue. Being able to sketch out a room floor plan on the grid would be handy, particularly for phones that can't run AR visualisation. Still one of the best and most useful apps I've seen to date, even without AR.

Great way to visualise how Stressless furniture would look in your house. Easy to use, provides lots of information about options available (colour, leather, wood,etc.). Could be better if you could take photos/videos directly from within the app.

It was good until recently. With the added function to see the furniture in your space, unless you provide the app access to your camera nothing works. Too intrusive for me to view chairs in different colors.

Poor. Asking for access to to much personal information. There is no need for this and has put me off buying stressless furniture. This is not a "stress less" experience for someone who has experienced ID theft

With Stressless @home you can design and see your Stressless furniture before you purchase it.
You can even configure multiple Stressless products and see them together – in your living room or wherever you want!

About the app:
- Free configuration of each model
- Visualisation of the furniture with 360 degree spin and zoom in 3D
- Visual comparison of several pieces of furniture in one view
- Save as many configurations as you want (stored on your phone)
- Share your configuration by e-mail
- Take a screenshot of your configured furniture and share it (great to take into store!)
- Use the Augmented Reality feature to see your configured product(s) in a room

The AR functionality gives a true impression of size, design and how it would fit in your home. Leaving no doubt in your mind when you go on to purchase!

To use the AR functionality:
- Make sure to have an open floor space and that the room is well lit.
- Scan the floor by pointing the mobile camera at it and by moving your mobile device around.
- When a suitable area is found you will be notified. When the furniture is positioned you can move it around freely.

Please note that a data generated image never can actually replicate the actual object. Colour and size may deviate some from the actual furniture – but we have done our very best to keep the differences to an absolute minimum, so you can get the most accurate impression possible.
