About this app

The Safari d’arte® app is an educational game created to value and enjoy the Italian Art Heritage through a new way of visiting the city. With the Safari d' arte® app you can play the tour and your treasure hunt, fully offline, walking through the city in search of details, represented on monuments. This is an engaging and original way of exploring the city and getting to know its history, the main historical characters and artworks. Study the georeferenced map with your GPS, spot the starting point and start your art treasure hunt. Look at the photographic clues, orient yourself, follow the path on the map and look carefully around you. Who will be the first to find the clues?
The visual approach to well know city locations will be experienced in a brand new way thanks to the careful observation skills required by the game. You will have the opportunity to discover stories and legends about the main characters and the monuments of the city you are going to visit.

Safari d’arte has been created with the invaluable cooperation of a group of experts, that have developed the project aiming to change the way to visit the city and its historical areas.

The Safari d’arte books are distribuited in the museal bookshops and in the PITs (Tourist information points). The project has also been choosen by Mibac (Ministry of Culture) to participate to the European Heritage days .
