This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing YachtBot Mobile on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

Racing and training efforts can be viewed by your friends, family, and coach in real-time while being recorded for analysis post race, on any device.

How does it work?
Your phone sends its GPS position and speed to our servers via the cellphone network while you are racing. Your friends, coaches, and spectators can log on to www.yacht-bot.com and view your racing and training efforts in real time, in the YachtBot race viewer.

Set up your race with course markers and a start line to improve the viewing experience. Add in your yachts, and let the racing begin!

It's best when it's not just you on the map, so get your entire club to download the app, and add everyone in on the action.

There's no software to install to view racing, and all data is automatically sync'd to the cloud in real time. No manual data collection required.



Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
