This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing WindBot Display on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. About this app

This WindBot Display app allows sailing coaches and race management to see live True Wind measurements on moving or anchored boats.

The App allows connection to a WindBot system via Bluetooth and shows a time-based graph and instantaneous read-outs of the True Wind speed and direction. Record for hours, scroll and zoom and get a handle on the weather patterns more quickly. Add the race course direction and keep an eye out for the course developing a bias.
Take tide or water current measurements using the built-in function, using any floating object you place in the water.
