The UI looks good at first glance, but is clunky and dysfunctional to use. Map center defaults to equator rather than user location. (If there is one area on Earth that does not need this app, it would be the equator!) Map uses non-standard gestures. Does not notify when one of the rare area aurorae is imminent or occurring. The twitter icons for anyone mentioning aurora is not well filtered. There are other uses of the word, like the city of Aurora, Oregon. Just makes for a cluttered map.

There really isn't any useful info. No forecasts, no current levels. The aurora map is disappointing now.

Nice idea, needs work on the UX front.

What have you done to the map ??? What's the big Green blob mean? According to the legend. Not much chance, so why is it there?

Two fingers to use map... UI needs work.

Trying to log in with my Twitter (as I did on the web version), I get an error page about too many redirects.
