Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Protec Card on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. About this app

Protec Card is an electronic case that keeps your bank card safe and protects it if you forget it, lose it or it is stolen.
Its aluminium design acts as a barrier which stops the bank card being hacked and thus prevents an unauthorised contactless payment from being made.
The user inserts their bank card in the Protec.Card and connects it to their smartphone.
Protec Card works via a special app.
If you lose your bank card or it is stolen, so if the card is no longer in its Protec Card or if the Protec Card is more than 50 metres away for longer than five minutes, the app triggers an audible alert and a notification showing a map of where the bank card was last tracked.
The benefit for the user is that they know right away if they have simply forgotten their bank card or if it has been stolen.
In this worst-case scenario, the app lets you block the bank card.
