This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing ICE - In Case of Emergency on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.

About this app

ICE - In Case of Emergency shows max three notifications (before Android V7 only one), each totally free to edit, you decide what the helpers should know about you if you are not able to communicate with them in case of emergency.
Notifications are shown also at the lock screen.

The notification title and text may contain Emoji's, lot of figures useful in ICE info!

- warnings: 🆘 ⚠ ❗ ‼
- religion: ✝ ☪ ✡
- and all other Emoji's

It's possible to use Html commands to format the notification text:
- bold, underline or both
- text colors or bold green
- text background color (not possible here Play Store description)

Each notification can include CALL ICE button, dials the ICE number directly at lock screen. Uses PHONE_CALL permission, which is asked if CALL ICE used.

My Profile, ten text blocks for your personal data. Titles of the blocks you can modify yourself.

Additional there is two pages for your own notes

My Profile and Notes are not possible to see if your phone is locked. Additional also possible to protect the notes by pin code.
These could include f.ex detail medical info, medicines, operations, doctor visits,....

The app will be started automatically after phone restart and keeps notification shown so long as possible at the lock screen.

Please check all functions, may be different depending on phone model!

Android P/Q and dark mode compatible.

This ICE - In Case of Emergency app is total free, in-app purchase used only for donating.
