Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing TripLogger App on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Works pretty well. Easy to use and links with Drive Less Connect, the web based trip tracking site. I'd like if this app would allow the user to see monthly stats or stats over a specified date range. As it is, you're only able to see your total stats.

About this app

The TripLogger app can be used to log trips from your phone to your trip log calendar. If you have set up a Trip Log Template, the app can also be used to confirm trips that are posted to your account based on the template.

IMPORTANT - To use this app, you must provide an email address registered with a program powered by SmartRideshare. Only those accounts that have completed the registration process on a website powered by SmartRideshare can use the app.

- Confirm trips posted to your account via TripTemplates you have set up on the website
- View trips logged in your calendar
- Delete trips from your calendar
- Track your achievements that are calculated in terms of money saved ($$), gasoline saved, CO2 saved and miles not driven
- Receive notifications when trips are posted to your account via Trip Log Templates
- Receive reminder notifications to log trips to your account if no trips have been logged for a few days
- Manage notifications

Reminder – The app includes only a subset of features of the website. For example, to check any incentives or rewards on offer you will need to visit your program website.
