DASHANSH The Social Service Mobile application is a medium to offer help, and support our own people who are less privileged, the ones who are deprived of government and non-government schemes, especially initiated for their development and upliftment. The application helps in bridging the gap between the underprivileged and the society, and connecting the needy with NGOs/ volunteers and the society they live in. The application is being developed and maintained by Dashansh Technologies (OPC) Private Limited, registered under the Companies Act, 2013, since 2019.

Dashansh is an ancient word, which means the tenth Part. The motive behind choosing the name “DASHANSH” is as per mythology, which says spending up the tenth share of our earning for humanitarian causes will form a society bridging the gap between the poor and the rich, where the fortunate and privileged helps nurture the poor and needy.
We at Dashansh, aims to reach each and every individual of our society and join us and be a part and understand the society and its requirements. We also seek to reach every needy of every village, district, city, state and countries.

Why Dashansh?

According to a report by the food and agriculture department of UN, food wastage is 1.3 billion tons which costs 2.6 trillion dollars every year globally. And on the other side more than 7 million people die of hunger every year.

Initially Dashansh was formed with the aim of establishing a collection and donation center in every city wherein people join and contribute towards feeding the hungry, saving the wastage of food, and evolving a chain of donating and feeding.
But this is not sufficing, solving hunger problems was just the initial step, there is lots required for the upliftment of the deprived. According to the reports of WHO, 1.81 million people died due to lack of proper sanitation, killer diseases such as tuberculosis, lung cancer are caused due to unhealthy lifestyle. High incidence of unemployment is directly proportional to lower level of basic amenities and unhealthy lifestyle. People are unemployed due to lack of education. Good food, healthy life, a clean environment and right education are the most important elements that each and every person in our society deserves and should have rightful access to.

Therefore, Dashansh now includes all the activities for the upliftment of the less privileged of our society, environment and animals. There are many government and non-government schemes for their upliftment, but due to lack of knowledge, they are deprived of these facilities provided to them by the government, and non-government organization. Dashansh is a medium to connect all key residents in this chain, the government, people of our society, volunteers and the needy.

Features

One can donate daily surplus food, blood in emergency, old and surplus household items, like books, clothes, shoes, etc. The application aids in conducting surveys to help the needy, by creating profiles of nearby needy. It also enables people to buy gifts for the needy.

The applications offer varieties of tools for aiding in social welfare activities for NGOs/Volunteers. One can volunteer for conducting surveys of nearby needy, analyzing collecting and distribution of food and items, awareness campaigns, donation of blood, teaching, plantation, medical aid, legal aid, rescue people and stray animals, training, etc. Volunteers get real time updates of all the social welfare activities taking place in their locality.

All the social welfare activities can be easily be incorporated through a systematic chain via this application, where already working NGOs, Volunteers, governmental and non-governmental organizations, the people of the society can be connected with the needy, underprivileged who are deprived of governmental and non-governmental schemes.
