This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Camper Buddy on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.

Camper Buddy is like having a local along for the ride. This handy travel app is a planner and a guide.

Your own personal tour guide in your phone, right by your side…..and it talks to you! This app is audio, so whilst you are driving you don’t have to rely on reading text.

There are plenty of travel tips, written by locals who know the areas well, so really you have a friendly New Zealander showing you around their country. Not only does it include history and Maori culture but also shows you spectacular sightseeing, handpicked places to eat, accommodation to suit all budgets and a wide range of activities and attractions that will make for a most memorable holiday.

It alerts you to points of interest as you approach them, which is perfect so you don’t miss a thing.
The app also takes care of practicalities listing gas stations for petrol and toilet stops, dump stations for motorhome waste water disposal and local supermarkets ensuring you never run out of cheese and wine for all those glorious sunset stops!

The maps are easy to read, the category filter is simple to use, but best of all is the Apps ‘Take Me There’ feature which uses the inbuilt map from your mobile phone to give you directions to your chosen destination. Fabulous no more squabbling over directions then!
