Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Shelly Home on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

Nice app to quickly control all your shellies, though unfortunately very laggy (same issue on two devices, P20 lite and S10). Best thing is it doesnt display any ads, which is unbelievable in this day and age. Congrats to the dev!

About this app

With this application you can set up and control Shelly Smart Home devices.

The application can connect to the Shelly Cloud via a Shelly user account. All existing functions, however, can also be used completely without an internet connection.

If you are in the local network, the devices communicate directly. Outside the local network, this is done via a Shelly user account.

Updates can be easily distributed to the Shelly devices via the smartphone. For this, they don't even need an internet connection.

This is a private project and will be developed and improved by me as much as possible. Since I don't own all Shelly devices, some are not supported here.

I am very happy about constructive feedback and suggestions.

Complete rework of the Shelly Home App with support for more devices, better performance and more possibilities. You now can add multiple dashboards and customize the layout and graphs (requires cloud connection) of your Shelly devices.

Support for more gen 2 devices aswell as their roller mode. Changed to websockets for gen 2 devices and support for bluetooth as well as Gen 3 support.
