“Virtual Tourist Guide” application has the role to identify through GPS the tourist attractions from the town giving pieces of tourist information to the visitors assuring the promotion of the regional tourism offer.
Features:
▪ At each touristic objective will be placed, at the entrance , a plate with a QR code or with a bar code. These are useful when the GPS coordinates can not be precisely taken due to the low signal level.
▪ After scanning the bar code or based on the GPS and the compass coordinates , the application will do a presentation of the chosen touristic objective (history,general info etc.).
▪ The presentation will contain images,text,movies,etc.
▪ The application will offer pieces of information regarding to the cuantum of the visiting taxes of the tourist objectives and the main ways of transport to the tourist objectives.
▪ Besides the info concerning to the tourist objectives, the application will also guide the short-term business visitors, regarding about their interest objectives .
