The budget gimbal X is good quality and very light. But The app is not so, most of the time is does not sync or do what is supposed to do such as just simple recording/stop, zoom, tilt.. whether you use the app directly to control or your phone own camera app. Movement while holding the phone also appear to be off....Had to restart both the app and gimbal everytime to make it work again. Hopefully Hohem can improve on the app or connectivity issues (or whatever it is ), using Samsung S phone and android v.10. The app also does not use the ultra Wide angle lens of the phone, which is most important while filming landscape!

Horrible! - gimbal it's self looks nice, feels nice. But the app just sucks. When you pay this kind of money and your trying to get (The app) nothing works. Also.. On app.. all videos,( the how to videos) It's not even the device you order. When trying to set up. Which you can't... It will show another device that looks nothing like the one you purchase. How can you set that up

It's okay it only lets you pick from two of your rear cameras and the max resolution is 4K 30fps you would think they would update it for modern phones that have three or four cameras I have the s21 ultra and it's just nice to use in the base camera app granted you have to touch everything on the screen to control the zoom and taking pictures and whatnot but it keeps it very stable the DJI is just as bad if not worse that's just tailored to an iPhone

Disappointment initially. Level even after calibration was impossible. Escalation to Hohem and they are responsive. Excellent communication. The initial issues with not being able to set up/down and left/right speed to low has been fixed on 03/2021 app update. Fair play. The product for the money is excellent. Some quirks but great small blog tool.

Using on Samsung S21ultra was a bit of pain connecting at first but once firmware updated worked fine the app could do with some work especially for 4k 60fps /1080 60fps on android the "moments" are good fun hopefully they will add more in the future you can select wide angle in the app which is also good if HOHEM worked on it properly could definitely give DJI a run for their money as they stick to Apple and smaller phones

One day of use so far - S21 Ultra and Hohem iSteady X. Initial setup and pairing took almost 1 hour. Can only use 2 of the 5 rear lenses (main and Wide Angle), and the white balance on both is way off, washed out compared to the native Samsung camera app. Zoom slider on the gimbal only works with the Hohem Pro App, which is very disappointing. When using the Hohem App, the camera works approximately 1/3 of the time, with the phone screen going black and "failed to save video" errors.
