There's been bad reviews of this app so I wasn't really sure if I wanted to even install it. However, the website is really bad. Especially when you're trying to reset the password. Sends you in loops. I got much further on the app on resetting my password and its much faster than the website. The negative (both site and app); it takes an extremely long time to receive the verification code email or text message. Both website and app still need a lot of work, but at least I can do what I need.

Utterly useless. I had already created an account online but couldn't pay by credit card online. I called my bank and they said they weren't declining it. I thought I could use the app to get around the payment issue. Made it all the way to the checkout screen and it gave me an error. Web page cannot be displayed. Wow! I guess you don't want my money!

The app is horrible and so are the other channels for ticket sales. They can't issue tickets over the phone in time for same day flights, the website is terribly buggy and this app keeps you stuck in perpetual loops. For the last 4 years, I've been flying Hong Kong airlines 2-3 times a month. I'll be switching over to other carriers that are more keen on doing business.

I can't see any justification for the application to require permissions to make/receive phone calls and have access to photos and files on my phone. Uninstalled without bothering to use it. Will rather use the web version than let it have access to things it shouldn't need.

this has been the worst trip i have ever planed I have had the worst experience in every way from the cost of the flight going up 3 time in price. logging in to pre flight. I must say after this trip is over I will never book or recommend Hong Kong air again. I have not been able to register or anything. but for the flight to go up over $600.00 Canadian dollars in $200.00 incr each time I was trying to pay in 5 minutes is unacceptable but I wanted to stop in Hong Kong so no choice in airline.

This app always show 'system maintance' regardless of the time and whether if I want to check in or manage flight. It does not work as it is supposed to be. It sucks!!!
