The service is a very good idea. But, the user journey and experience with the app has been disappointing most times. If they could look into all the user reviews, and work on fixing it along with fixing all the bugs that arise everytime on different devices, it will then be a very good platform to utilise.

The Hitch app has been an amazing tool for me as an international student to travel conveniently and cheaply across major cities in Texas. The drivers have been friendly and accommodating as well. The app could be improved however with the driver map often not showing accurate information. Overall, it is a very convenient and useful platform.

The ride experience is great and I love the overall concept of long distance ride sharing. Rides are guaranteed (no rainchecks), cars are in good condition and the overall experience is more comfortable vs taking the bus so I give that part 4 stars. However the app is glitchy: does not show ride details (shows up as null), driver ETA is often incorrect with squiggly map paths. For improvement, drivers should be on time or make concessions when drivers arrive late. Enhance app experience

Hitch as a service is good however the app lacks in features. The features could be improved, such as live location of the driver, many times it doesn't update the location. The app should have basic features like notifications. Last time when my driver cancelled the ride at the last moment, it didn't even notify me and instead the driver's details disappeared from the app. It was a major inconvenience. There are also no services for protection or emergency in the app like uber has.

Worst experience. The app didn't show my ride just before the ride, Customer care phone not working. Only way to connect is through chat. The driver cancelled and they did not even update. I had to ask them if it was actually cancelled. Then they kept delaying the ride. Then the refund for cancellation is also not credited to the account. If no stars were possible I would have given that!!

Hitch b/n Cities- is a good service and priced competitively. Their concept of using stations to pick-up and drop off is great for singles and women. It grants the passenger a degree of security--not having a stranger come to your place of residence. Drivers are nice, vehicles are clean. The drivers are often times late for pickups more than I'd prefer though.
