Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing ERcast on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Great to have a native app. 1 suggestion and 1 error to correct... - A tool to adjust playback speed is a must! Error: when closing the app on my samsung 9+, the app continued to play. Then when I opened it again, i was able to open another podcast and have another play at the same time.

This App needs updating. It used to work well but now it stalls a lot. When you are listening to a podcast and it stalls when you then try to replay u end up with 2 podcasts playing.
