A Hindu devotional is a community about heritage temples and mythological asset of India. There are various deities worshiped by people. And there are ancient creations as well as newly built artistic temples for all these Gods and Goddess. As there are many gods so as beliefs with them. These deities are linked to universal and natural processes which are a result of an endless cycle of birth, death, rebirth, karma, incarnation, reincarnation. It took centuries to build this heritage and Sanatan(universal) Dharma philosophy. Some people do believe deeply and some are not. Everyone has their own way to accept it and argue for the same. In spite of the difference of opinion, Indian temples are having their own heritage value. The app will introduce to all these various temples and Gods, their divinity will surely attract you. Temple structures also have region effects, you will find a significant change in structures from the different part of India. We are starting from South Indian temples and will cover all other parts gradually.

By our application Hindu Kovil, we are trying to promote awareness of the Hindu way of life within ourselves and our neighbors with this application. An Application provides a history of Hindu temples and related details in Tamil. It also provides daily updates of temples/events based on the Hindu calendar.
The Application will guide you with the history of ancient temples, related tales of that place, location and contact details, and route to that place.
Find the list of functionality given by application:
Search & Find:
A User can search temples, events, and location of the temple by entering related text. A user will be redirected to the detailed page of temples and organized events. To find the exact GPS location will help the user to reach the desired temple. Also, the user can search by categories of God or Goddess which provides a list of respective temples and it's detailed. Information given in application is verified.
Add Temples and Events:
We are grateful to users of the application who wants to add new information. Logged in user is able to add temples/events, added information will be verified/corrected if needed within 12 hours and then it will be listed in the application.
Favorite:
The application gives the user to select and save their desired information and can access later. Logged in user is able to add favorite temples/events. So, he/she can easily find it from the favorite list for further use.

We appreciate comments from users, based on what we can improve application and make it more user-friendly.

The application gives you the facility to find nearby temples from the current location.
