This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Animated Photo Widget on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

It works and have good options, but to select the DCIM/camera folder I need a full hour to browse between the over 15000 randomly ordered folders, including all data folders all music folders all my software backup source folders (each icon interpreted as a picture) all my hardware backup folders etc. At least add a find or order by name, or show the folders tree...

A very good photo widget. Dev if I may suggest, please implement a background music player that you can toggle off and on. I have not seen any picture widget that has this feature yet.

Something has changed with this widget and now it's practically useless for me. It used to fit each photo into the widget, even when they were different sizes. Now it zooms in on most of my photos and cuts off the edges so that I can't enjoy my photos. Please fix whatever broke!

Not working at all. And I know this is widget and not an app. I've put it into homescreen as widget but instead of showing selected photos it shows error icon, no matter whichever photo or folder I select. I'm using Android 10 And my phone is asus zenfone 5z.

This widget seems to have died since 20 March and just shows a loading spinner and not configured photos. If it's fixed I'll change review but right now completely broken for me.

or
Go to Security Center > Privacy permission > Auto-run Management
