This guide is amazing. Still no substitute for having a paper map backup, but I admit that I never once looked at my paper map during the climb. Actually a little sad that it's free since I'd love to chip in for it a la Guthook's JMT guide or AWOL's AT guide. Only suggestion: would be good to mark where the Chute route starts and ends.

AMAZING app. This kept track of exactly where we were on the trail from start to finish even with no cell signal. The elevation tool was also accurate and helpful. It even accurately shows you where the water sources are. A must have if hiking Mount Whitney.

Summited 8/16/17 help us stay on trail. Kinda wish it had an arrow or something that showed which direction when I was off trail. But other than that this was a life saver
