Would not connect to any Android device, it keeps saying "failed to obtain ip address". Only works with iPad currently. You have to disconnect from your home wifi and connect to the pool cleaner control unit. Meaning you don't have Internet when ever you want to use the app. And you have to do this every time you want to use the app. While the App itself works great if you can get it connected. The AquaVac 650 it controls doesn't clean very well. Doesn't pick up dirt or sand.

the app looks like it was made in 2005. the WiFi encryption is WEP. WHICH COINCIDENTALLY was rendered insecure in 2005 as well. the fact that you can only connect to the WiFi that it broadcasts in order to control it, makes the 'clean me' notification useless as you will never receive it if connected to your home WiFi. a device of this price range with such a pathetic interface is unacceptable and frankly in this day and age the worst product I've ever seen. it was designed by 60yo's clearly.

Disappointed 😞.. So I was super excited about the Aquavac 650 and its "smart" capabilities. After purchasing i found that they have a "know issue " about there wifi not working with Android..I tried another unit at the store to make sure it was not just a defective unit. The WiFi will not connect to Android only Apple after being on the market for 6+ months.. long story short I returned my Aquavac 650 and replaced with a Dolphin M600. In turn it makes this app useless due to flawed wifi tech
