One thing is pretty good in this app, and that is ar tracking, but the scanning isn't really a 3d scanning, it just take photos from different angles and show them in ar, but this will be a good 3d scanner if you guys make 3d mesh and show them in ar, good luck 👍🇧🇩

The negative reviews are people who; -Didn't read the app description -Didn't look at the screenshots. !!This is **not a 3D scanner** or mesh reconstruction app!! For true reconstruction scanning, look at; -"3D Scanner" [Tango derivative, paid options for ToF devices] -'Scann 3D' [subscription] Opus however - does exactly what it claims; Produces a high density pointcloud-like array of tiny thumbnail photos - like an 'montage object' made of polaroid photos. This app could get 4 stars for the movement tracking reliability alone. Nothing short of amazing - Maybe the small active scanning area + wide frame for tracking are the secret sauce! - Hats off to the devs, whatever you did - it works beautifully. Finished scans are saved using the disk icon. You can also place your objects in AR (top left 'picture' button), with position and scaling via drag and pinch-to-zoom. Only minor complaints are; -Camera continues rolling in the background during save/export [DEVS: Might this be reducing performance during save/export?] -Buttons are a bit mystic without labels Those minor faults aside; this is pretty great!

It works.. kind-of. The camera is blurry and the stitching of images doesn't work very well. It results in an image that's similar to multiple Polaroid photos piled ontop of each other. I have hopes future updates might improve it, but at this stage it's nothing to be amazed about.

Very unimpressive. If it actually created a mesh it would be a thousand times better
