Charges for services not provided. They put you on a monthly fee but don't actually have service providers available so you're sitting there waiting to see if your job gets assigned. They will cancel on you moments before the scheduled service with a "no one available." I asked to cancel after several rescheduled attempts from no one available, they charged me AGAIN to get off their service. So I'm out double and have still had no one do the work. An absolute scam.

Unreliable. Changed appointments for service again and again and again - always at the last minute, until it was eventually cancelled. Based on their comments I think it's important to highlight that receiving ones money back is pointless when you are awaiting critical services and lose a week in finding a provider. Was told do to cancelations we were priority for the next day only to have the service completely cancelled at that point. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

Read the fine print! They charge you $99 to cancel subscription because they don't verify with the cleaner that is coming to your house before they come. So if the cleaner just decides not to show up, they try to reschedule/give you credits towards your next clean. I'd go with a more PROFESSIONAL cleaning company. Really any other cleaning company. I had to BEG them 3+ times to give me my money back on some one who just decided not to show up? Very unprofessional.

Last minute cancellations. I booked a cleaning for a family gathering. They cancelled an hour before they were too arrive (the day before the party). They rescheduled, and they cancelled again just hours before they were scheduled. Shame on me for not noticing there isn't a customer service number to call. Everything is email only. I didn't realize this was a contract for these services. They were good at hiding that little nugget of information. Total SCAM!!!!!

Handy is a hit or miss service. Customer service is great and they'll help out however they can. It took forever to get matched with a professional and the pro did a so-so job. If you plan on having monthly or weekly services and you're okay rescheduling and having people cancel on you it can definitely be good. Important thing to remember is that if you cancel a plan before completion it is a 99$ cancellation fee.

Completely useless. Our first experience was bicycle assembly. It was weeks before someone finally showed up after a few cancelations. Two of three bikes can't even be ridden because they weren't assembled properly. We gave it another shot with a handyman appt which was canceled three times at the last minute. Deleting this useless app! Save yourself the hassle and find someone on your own.
