What is BETTER TOGETHER 2017?
BETTER TOGETHER 2017 is a 3-day creative retreat that brings together dreamers, practitioners and changemakers from around the world for an inspiring exchange of ideas and celebration of being #BetterTogether.

At an abandoned tobacco plant reborn as a dream factory; In a city that created the oldest known movable metal type printing in the world; In a nation dreaming of peace and harmony; City of Cheongju: it is here that we will meet, mingle and make it better.

How are we celebrating together?

Opening Ceremony/ 11.10(Fri)
Join us in kicking off Better Together 2017 with the Opening Ceremony, which includes:
a calligraphy performance by cultural designers and citizens; a collaborative stage performance by Jean-Paul Samputu and Wonjoong Kim promoting a message of peace and understanding; and a joint message wishing for peace in the Korean peninsula and throughout our world.

Open Voice/ 11.11(Sat)-12(Sun)
Express your voice in mindful group discussions on why empathy is important to us, and how we can build a sustainable culture of empathy. Open Voice is where participants listen to one another’s voices, and exchange experiences and ideas with an open mind. Every voice matters in Open Voice.

C!talk Global/ 11.11(Sat)-12(Sun)
Gain inspiring insights from 8 global impact makers, as they passionately share their voices on empathy and peace from unique backgrounds and diverse perspectives.

Culture Designers Fair & School / 11.10(Fri)-12(Sun)
More than 90 sessions of real examples of greater good lifestyles are available as exhibitions, live performances, lectures, and workshops. All are welcome to sign up and participate.

Better Together Nights/ 11.11(Sat)-12(Sun)
Networking party at a cool factory venue: Whether you choose to introduce yourself to everyone in two minutes via our open mic introduction sessions, or immerse yourself in off-stage conversations with fellow Culture Designers, every night is a new night to meet new people and plunge into wonder and togetherness.
