About this app

Connect Plus is responsible for the delivering the £6.2bn 30 year DBFO contract for the M25 Network – which carries over 200,000 vehicles every
single day, quite literally helping to drive the UK’s economy. The M25 Network covers 440km of Highway England’s Strategic Road Network, including the major arterial routes serving London, such as the M1, M3 and M4.

The first 5-years of the contract have been characterised by over £1.3bn investment in improving Network capacity, a commitment to reducing incidents across the Network, the introduction of a comprehensive assetmanagement programme, implementing innovative solutions to improve traffic flow, enhance driver information, and to deliver greater operational and maintenance efficiencies.

Looking ahead, we are facing a new set of strategic and economic imperatives, that will put even greater pressure on our infrastructure. We have always worked closely in partnership with a wide range of organisations from Highways England to our local supply chain. However, we now need to reach out to a much wider community in order to help meet these future challenges.

The Connect Plus M25 Network Conference focuses on the strategic and economic issues facing the diverse stakeholders who are directly and indirectly involved in or connected with the M25 Network.

The conference aims to bring together the key companies, organisations,
agencies and governmental bodies to listen, share, learn and debate a
number of central issues facing ’the Community’ including
• The challenges to 2050 and beyond
• Identifying the needs and priorities of those challenges
• Major impacts on delivery
• Leveraging innovation and technology
• Continually improving customer and road worker safety
• Facing climate change and the challenges of a growing economy
