What is SMC Guides?
Welcome to Saint Mary's College of California! Whether you're preparing for Orientation/Weekend of Welcome and Moving-In as a new student, getting involved with student organizations, and/or need to know quick resources on campus, the SMC Guides app is your source for campus information.

Get Ready! Guide:
At Orientation, you and your family will become acquainted with the SMC campus and have opportunities to discuss college life with current students, staff, and faculty members. You’ll learn about academic requirements, course offerings, and academic support services. You’ll meet with an academic advisor to plan your first year classes and get your questions answered. And of course, you will learn about the many academic and extracurricular opportunities that make SMC an exciting and unique place. You will leave Orientation better prepared for your university experience in the Fall, when we will see you again for Weekend of Welcome (WoW). During WoW, we gear up for the new school year and welcome all of our students. To introduce students to our campus community, we host a number of activities and programs before classes begin so students can become familiar with the university's array of resources, meet new people, and make new friends.

Women’s Resource Center Guide:
The Women’s Resource Center (WRC) is dedicated to addressing and educating the campus community about issues such as healthy relationships, identity, self-esteem, dating violence, and sexual assault as well as societal issues such as sexism, racism, and other forms of oppression that affect men and women. By providing outreach, education, referrals, and support, the WRC aims to empower women & men to succeed on campus. The WRC is dedicated to creating a campus environment that empowers women and men to envision and engage in a life that maximizes their academic, personal, and spiritual growth.

Student Life Guide:
What makes life here at Saint Mary's unique? Is it being surrounded by 420 acres of hills, pines, hidden gardens, stunning architecture and state-of-the-art classrooms? Student Life at Saint Mary’s is marked by dedicated professional staff and amazing student leaders who take on the responsibility of enriching the student experience through educational, social and cultural programs. We provide services to support your health and wellness. Our goal is to lower the barriers to a Saint Mary’s education by creating experiences that extend the learning to the residence halls, the dining commons and the conversations that students have with one another out of the classroom.
