Welcome to the 6th National Conference of the National Association of Community and Restorative Justice at the Oakland Marriott from June 16th-18th, 2017. A pre-conference training day is June 15th, 2017.

The theme of the conference is Moving Restorative Justice from Margins to Center:

In this exciting and innovative conference we expect more than 1,100 participants, over 80 youth and nearly 100 formerly incarcerated people.

Our focus in the conference is on;

· Promoting radical inclusivity - elevating historically marginalized voices
· Promoting radical healing - engaging restorative justice with cultural and trauma healing practices
· Exploring the intersection of restorative justice with other contemporary movements - Abolitionism, #BlackLivesMatter, and transgender and sexual violence activism
· Creative delivery formats - healing spaces, circles, Black Panther historic tour (as well as plenaries and panels), cultural activities
