I actually really like this app however updates are too far and few between for my liking as dragons of tarkir is about to be released and you haven't released fate reforged content yet. Also there are no mythic rares in the app so while I was trying to price out an ugin the spirit dragon I pulled I had to use the browser on my phone and while this does seem like a major first world problem it is still there and that is why I give this app 4/5 stars

That single use being prices available for checking offline. Mtg familiar IS the superior app. It checks current prices, it has great search capability, and a variety of other features. This app requires you to know the exact set any given card was printed in and doesnt even include a few printings, mostly duel decks. The worst part is that it has not been updated in a long time. The app does not have dragons of tarkir, modern masters 2015 or even commander 2014.

The app is useless without common updates as card prices change almost everyday and not having current cards is enraging

Nice navigation, homepage and search function, but it needs more pictures. It doesn't have the pictures for all the cards, but other than that I would recommend

If this gets up to date with the Battle for Zendikar set and the new Commander decks I'll give 5 🌟as its a good app

Needs updated more often. I love the app but it doesn't keep up with newer sets that come out right away

About this app

This app is a pricing guide for the Magic: The Gathering card game. It features cards from all standard blocks from Alpha and Beta through the most current sets and many expansions such as Legends, Conspiracy, and From the Vault. This app contains all card information OFFLINE, meaning that you don’t have to have an internet connection to view card or pricing information. Content is updated once daily, and after the update downloads, you do not need an internet connection to view the information. This means that you can use the app in places where you don’t get an active cell signal (like your local game store, a friend’s house, or tournament space).
