The Indiana Memorial Union, know on campus as the IMU, is a vibrant gathering place for students, faculty, staff, alumni and guests of the university. The IMU is the center of campus life. The IMU has a staggering 500,000 sq. feet of space making it one of the largest student unions in the world. Union Board, the largest student programming body on the IUB campus, is the governing body for the IMU. Union Board organizes a diverse range of events and activities open to all IUB students, including the longest running student sponsored film series, concerts, lectures and so much more. The IMU offers a variety of convenient shopping and service venues all under one roof and at the center of campus. Some of the programs and services include several dining venues, banking, bowling and billiards, a student technology center, a bookstore, and a hotel and conference center.
