As most say, great when it works (hence 2 stars) but the vast majority of the time it doesn't function, in more ways than one, such as: 1. Getting stuck on login screen for long amounts of time. 2. Tapping the button 6-10 times before getting a result. 3. Consistently "Losing Wi-Fi Connection" to gate. And more. Research well before commiting to this hardware/service for opening your gate(s).

When it works, it is very convenient being able to open my gate from my phone. The trouble is about 50% of the time, when you click the app to open it. It just stays on the red mighty mule screen. Then when the app does open, you press the button to open the gate and nothing happens. It sucks when you have someone sitting at your gate waiting for you to let them in and the app won't open. Fix the reliability issues and this would be a great product.

Great when it works, but application constantly has to be forced stopped to get it to connect and the wifi device occasionally looses connection to the gate. Completely unreliable as a way to manage your gate. New updated and it has gotten worse. Connects and opens the gate about 10% of the time without needing to force stop the app. Even then it works about 50% of the time

Update 8 Oct 2020: Found a workaround. Installed an old router and set it to 2.4ghz. App connected as expected! 😀 2nd Update 2 Oct 2020: Wow app actually connected and opened the gate, then went offline after 20 minutes once again. 🤬 Update 2 Oct 2020: first update in nearly a year! Now app fails faster than ever. 😡 App is so frustrating. Continually looses wifi. Half the time the app freezes on launch. This app would be phenomenal if it was reliable! 😡

I was hoping with this new update that the app would function better. It has been a problem since I bought the system. With the latest update the app may or may not even open. If it does it will take about 20 seconds. I used MyQ to operate my old garage door which worked flawlessly but is not compatible with Mighty Mule. I wish I would have bought a different garage door opener. This is very quiet, but the functionality does not work very well and their app techs can't seem to get it right.

Horrible app and Horrible Customer Service. I have spent at least an hour on hold waiting to speak to a customer service. App has crashed and there has been no fix and no follow up to when it will be up. Wish Ghost had the product I was looking for. I would have gone with them.
