I am using this app with JVC GC- XA1(bu). Note that I first updated the firmware on my JVC to version 492. After setting up the WiFi connections via the window program and a USB cable this app (WiVideo version 1.31.1.31) is working great for me on my Samsung Note 2 via WiFi HotSpot. A few things to note: The orientation does not match the notification bar at the top of the phone. However, the orientation DOES rotate the image for me and matches the camera fine. Remote controls all work fine albeit a bit slow as would be expected via a WiFi app. I would give it 5 stars if the rotation worked with the notification bar but this is not a deal killer at all!!!!

Constant connection problems. Don't know if it's the camera or the app but no matter what hot spot or WiFi I use, it's the same issues. This app will make you want to throw something against the wall. Just use the pc version with a direct USB connection and save yourself the frustration. Two stars for at least having a decent looking layout. Just didn't work too well.
