Temps displayed in app are incorrect. The probe reads correct at the base but the app shows 117995 and keeps giving false alarms. Works correctly about 50% of the time. I have already contacted support and they simply told me to buy a new probe. The probe works fine at the base showing the "correct" temperature. I never heard from customer support again. Checked probe against 3 other thermometers and all read within a few degrees. This is an app review. Fix the app working with the base.

Works great for 10 minutes but doesn't keep connection on my phone. Almost lost an 80 dollar brisket due to this inadequate thermometer. Responded to their email, gave them my phone number for further diagnosis. No response or follow through. My own follow up: I have a galaxy S10+ and my phone stops communicating with Grilleye when on wifi but works 70% of the time if I stay on cellular network. Also, there is no lack of signal on my back porch where I utilize the thermometer.

I like the product and the app has all the right features, but the graph takes an hour to get functional, im correctly connected to wifi and data is coming in over 4g on my phone, but the graph functionality takes very long to start. Please fix this, please contact me if you want to do a debug session together. Would be great if the last 6 hours of data could also be stored locally on the device so you don't depend on the cloud to store the data, since this seems to be buggy...

Constantly drops connection especially after connecting it to WIFi. Have to completely reset the app to get it to reconnect once it starts dropping the connection. Then ironically when you're not using it the app it prompts you every hour that it's disconnected. It's gotten to the point the app is more trouble than it's worth.

I really wish you guys would change some of the things around, like have it go into landscape mode to be able to see the graph better, and get rid of the bright white light at night when I want to check on it it's too bright I rather have a black background for a screen, at least make it an option to choose a day or night mode, fix this and I'll give you a five

If you open another app while this app is running it will freeze / disconnect and there is no reconnect button to re-establish the connection. It also does not have it in its programming to automatically attempt to reconnect while disconnected because Ive left it there for an hour before just to see. To get it back connected you have to go to your settings -> apps -> grilleye -> force stop. Then reopen it and it will connect.
