Although as others have mentioned Android now only permits widget to lead to settings rather than directly toggling GPS status, it does clearly show current status by changing widget colour which is much better than a simple short cut. Giant size of widget is not attractive though. Wish the developer would redesign it to match normal icon size.

Quickly opens the locations screen so I can turn off the flippin high accuracy mode. **note this does NOT toggle your GPS, but it doesn't claim to**
