A restaurant that failed it's last health inspection over two weeks ago is still listed as passed in this app. According to the app description: "All data is constantly kept up-to-date with the latest health inspection records directly from the City of Chicago." City of Chicago provides a publicly documented API for getting the latest data direct from them. But as far as I can tell, this app never uses that API. Instead it seems to only use a snapshot of the data that is bundled in the app itself. If that is true, then the data displayed in the app hasn't been updated in nearly a year. If using the City of Chicago data API is outside of the scope of Grand Solutions Consulting Inc. programming skills, that is fine. But the app description should accurately reflect the limitations of the app.
