Downloaded this app before heading to the lake, after paying the premium price, and all it did was say "failed to connect to license server"!! Thank goodness I'd also installed Anchor Pro (also a premium, paid app, but it actually worked).

Love it. Lots of features. Feel ssfe when I'm on shore or sleeping at night.. Was snchored out couple nights ago. Had the alarms on the app set for sound.. Well at two in the mourning my phone started msking this loud noice and was vibrating. Sure enough my anchor was dragging and I wss headed right for some rocks. This app saved the dsy

About this app

Let safeAnchor stand anchor watch for you. Sleep well at night while it monitors your boat’s position and sounds an alarm if your boat drifts outside the guard radius. Or go on a shore excursion and be notified if your anchor drags by phone call or email.

This easy-to-use app includes the following:
Alarms for:
• GPS Off
• GPS Not Accurate
• Exiting Guard Zone
• Reentering Guard Zone
• Low Battery
• Low Memory
All alarms can be configured for all or none of the following:
• Sound on your device
• Send Email message
• Call phone
The Exiting alarm email contains the following information:
• Distance outside guard zone (feet/meters)
• Speed the boat is moving (mph, km/h)
• Direction (bearing)
If choice to send email notices you must have a Gmail account.
Additional features:
• Battery Saver technology
• Smart Memory Manager
• English/Metric units
• GPS accuracy and location
• Continues to monitor location when screen is off
• Remote monitoring via email or phone call
• Ability to set exclusion zone
• Ability to show boat’s track
• Remembers last guard zone.

Anchor Methods:
• Auto Set
This option is best if you back down your boat to set the anchor. It uses your GPS fixes to determine the anchor location

• Auto Calculation
This option requires that you know the water depth. It uses your GPS fixes to determine the bearing to the anchor location.

• Two Point
This option does not rely on the app trying to calculate the anchor location. You set the anchor location when you’re dropping the anchor.

• Manual
For this option requires that you manually enter the GPS coordinates of the anchor location.
