Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing GL Gifts on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

About this app

This application is for promotional purposes of GlobalLogic company, that is the appís developer, owner and sponsor. The aim of Gift Box app is to assist in company-held internal and external quests or events, in which GlobalLogic consultants and other participants defined by GlobalLogic (for instance, participants of IT conferences) can participate. Participation and app installing is free of charge and the app doesnít have any in-app purchases.
Quest timeframe is limited and is defined by GlobalLogic.

GIFT BOX QUEST FLOW

In order to use the app, the users have to register with one of their social media accounts. GlobalLogic guarantees that all personal data collected during registration is confidential and can be used in accordance with GlobalLogic privacy policies.

The app is connected to the Gift Box machine. The registered participants take part in the quest, give answers to the quest questions, scan QR codes with this app and then let the machine scan the quest result. According to the quest result the machine gives out tickets that contain gift information (if the ticket is winning or not and if winning ó the type of gift is indicated). GlobalLogic defines all gifts of the quest. GlobalLogic has the right to change quest rules, gifts and does not hold the responsibility for lost tickets or gifts. Not all tickets are winning. GlobalLogic representative is responsible for exchanging winning tickets for gifts.

GIFT BOX EVENT

The Gift Box app can be used during events organized by GlobalLogic for a lottery. Participants register with one of their social media accounts. GlobalLogic guarantees that all personal data collected during registration is confidential and can be used in accordance with GlobalLogic privacy policies. In exchange for installing and registering into the app, the Gift Box gives out a ticket. Tickets can be winning, i.e. containing the gift name or not. GlobalLogic defines all gifts. GlobalLogic does not hold the responsibility for lost tickets or gifts. GlobalLogic representative is responsible for exchanging winning tickets for gifts.

Google Inc. is not involved in any activity of the Gift Box app.
