I have just upgraded from a Talon 29 MTB to the Talon 29 ebike. I read the reviews for this app which bye and large are negative. The bike is great, regretfully I have to criticize the app. It connects fine but only can "see" and use the My Ride. And this is grossly inaccurate in terms of distance and time. I cannot use any of the other features. Can only wait patiently for Giant to redesign and update the app

The app has got even worse it's now in an update loop and won't connect, I now use my wife's IPHONE as that seems to work. "This app is awful, it doesn't connect first time and you have to play about switching the bike on and off and disconnecting the app to get it to connect. Once connected you can adjust the motor settings but as soon as you go into ride it crashes. With the amount of money you pay for an E Bike you would have thought Giant could have got the app right!!!"

Hi. This was working fine until two weeks ago. I could fine tune the power distribution to my own preferences and would know how much battery capacity was left for long rides here in South Africa and Lesotho. There was a recent update and now the whole system has become unreliable .The app is not measuring anything any more and has become useless. I regret, because it was a good design a year ago...... PLEASE !!!!!!!

Potential to be better. Can only see stats and not the actual ride route map after a ride completes. App won't connect if bike is powered on after the app is opened. Cannot see battery remaining while a ride is in progress. App did successfully update my bike to the latest firmware without a problem. Edit:. Changed from three to one star. The app is now completely broken. It refused to upload my last two rides and now I cannot log in or connect to my bike to do or see anything. Frustrating.

Scans for bike ok, cannot login, cannot create account. Says "No Network connection" as error or "Unknown Error". This app is unusable. Hope their devs get a fix soon or I'll be going elsewhere. Having to take the bike in to do a diagnostic everytime is a pain in the ass.

The app used to work. It is now locked in a firmware update loop that prevents it opening properly for 2019 bikes. My bike shop have been told by Giant that the app is currently unusable. The developer is working on an update that may fix it. It has been like this since the end of May 2020, about 4 months. This is trashing Giant's reputation!
