This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing PlaceTales Cymru|Wales NRW on PC Windows and Mac.

Nice idea, but most of the NRW sites I have visited and have an interest in do not appear on the app. I hope NRW pull there finger out and update this for the coming 'year of legends'.

It is a very nice app to use and I particularly love the feature of listening to the audio tales which is fun for all the family. Highly recommend to anyone who likes a good walk around beautiful places of Wales!

About this app

Listen to stories from forests and nature reserves! This app explains the natural and cultural heritage you will encounter in Wales’s public forests and National Nature Reserves complete with audio trails and audio folk tales. It is the partner app to PlacesToGo Cymru|Wales NRW – which shows you where you can go and what you can do in forests and reserves managed by Natural Resources Wales.

Content Downloading
To avoid signal problems with opening up files like audio trails (coverage is often poor in forests) – click on ‘Download Site Tales’ where you have a good signal/Wi-Fi to have all the relevant audio and other content stored on your phone as a download. You can then access them without a signal if there isn't one on site. Site descriptions are held on the app though - no need for a signal.
