About this app

The term Tai Chi was only known since the mid-18th century. At that time a Chinese martial arts expert named Yang Luchan, was known to be "invincible" because he possessed very unique ancient martial arts. With that martial arts, he easily defeated all martial arts experts in China at that time. He called his martial arts: Tai Chi, taken from the term Yin-Yang diagram which is commonly used as a symbol of Taoist teachings. Since then this unique martial art has been known as Tai Chi.
